Collection: KnitCrate Highlights
Here at Madison & State Fiber Co. we're always looking for ways to develop our dyeing skills and push our creativity. KnitCrate has provided us with the perfect opportunity to do this! Every month, KnitCrate provides a theme and some inspo photos.
The theme for March was Unwind. KnitCrate asked us to think of coffee, tea, serenity, and spring. We embraced the thought of spring with calm and cozy vibes.
The theme for April was Petal. KnitCrate sent along images of bright blooming flowers full of rich and vivid colors. They asked, “what flower garden inspired colorways are filing your thoughts this month?” We looked around us in Chicago at the bright green buds appearing on the ground and on the trees. We’re also lucky enough to see as the occasional tulip or daffodil these days!
The theme for May was Happy Little Skeins. KnitCrate sent along images of cozy cabins in the woods and serene mountain views. They asked us to, ”Embrace the peace of nature and create a happy little world full of laid back and positive energy with each skein.“
The theme for June is Mirage. We were inspired by KnitCrate’s images sent of sunsets with deep tones and bright layers of color as well as those of calming neutral tones.
